AUCTION – 8/31/16 – BEECHJET 400 TWIN ENGINE 9 PASSENGER AIRPLANE

This auction is of a 1988 Beech Craft “BeechJet 400” twin engine 9 passenger jet airplane. The sale is being conducted for the United States Federal Bankruptcy Court. There is no minimum or starting bid, the sale is subject only to Court confirmation. The plane is being sold “as is, where is” and “free and clear” of liens. 

The plane is located in a hanger at the Davidson County Airport located at 1673 Aviation Way in Lexington, NC. The plane was recently flown from RDU to Davidson where the auction will be held live onsite. The plane is readily available for inspection by prospective buyers by appointment prior to the day of auction. 

All of the planes records and logs are located at the offices of Country Boys Auction & Realty, Inc. at 1211 W. 5th Street in Washington, NC and are also readily available for review by appointment as well.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

– The aircraft is being sold “as is, where is” meaning that the seller is selling, and the buyer is buying the aircraft in whatever condition it presently exists, and that the buyer is accepting the item “with all faults”, whether or not immediately apparent. Prospective buyers have the opportunity and obligation to inspect the property and log books/service records prior to time of bidding and to do any and all research they deem necessary prior to time of bidding. 

– The aircraft is being sold “free and clear” of liens by Order of the United States Federal Bankruptcy Court.

– There is no “upset bid” or “bid raise period” after the close of the live auction by the auctioneer. The high bid at the close of the live auction is the selling price and will be submitted to the Court for confirmation. The confirmation period takes approximately (20) days. 

– A 20% deposit will be paid by the Buyer at the close of the auction, the balance will be due immediately upon the Court confirmation. Court confirmation usually takes approximately (20) days from the date of the auction.
