Davidson County airport seeks lift via marketing

The new managers of the Davidson County Airport are investing thousands of dollars in a marketing plan aimed at transforming the quiet rural facility into an international arrival destination for a variety of aircraft. Plans by Fly High Lexington — a private company contracted by the county to run the airport — are part of a larger blueprint to improve the facility and address a decline in activity experienced during the recession.
