Our Director of Maintenance Ed Holland and his team have extensive experience in commercial and general aviation with work ranging from Ultra lights to Boeing 777s. Meet the Maintenance Crew:

Ed Holland – Director of Maintenance

A&P Mechanic, IA, Commercial Pilot, Flight Instructor, Designated Pilot Examiner

I graduated from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in 1982 and worked for a regional airline and then moved on to work for USAirways.  In the last ten years, I have worked for several FBO’s and Timco in Greensboro. My experience as a mechanic ranges from the ultralight to the Boeing 777.  Interests include, flying, soaring, cycling, and fitness.  I am the proud parent of a 17 year old daughter.  My experience in the industry includes 30 years as a mechanic and 33 as a pilot of 7500 hrs.

Mark Gross

A&P Mechanic, student pilot

Mark graduated from Greensboro Technical Community College with the FAA airframe and powerplant certificate.  His experience has taken him all the way from general aviation aircraft which he has been steadily working on for three years up to large commercial aircraft including the Boeing 737, 757, and 777.  In his free time, Mark enjoys many activities including soaring, hiking, sailing, and also is quite an accomplished guitar player.  After a stint in a local band, he pursued his aviation career and continues playing the guitar to the delight of anyone listening.

Brian Edwards

A&P Mechanic

Brian comes to us all the way from the Big Apple.  His experience includes welding which he was employed in for 2 years.  Afterwards, he went to work for Delta Airlines and worked four years in their ground service equipment department.  Afterwards, he worked in the aircraft maintenance department for Delta.  Following a layoff from Delta, Brian moved south and began his work for Timco and Pace Airlines.  Whereas he works in both the A&P and structures discipline, Brian is quite an accomplished sheetmetal mechanic with a great deal of experience working modifications and repairs.  He is married and the proud parent of two children.  For enjoyment, Brian can be found on the hills and moutains riding his moutain bike or below the waves enjoying his hobby of scuba diving.  In the winter months, he also enjoys skiing

Mike Riegelman

A&P Mechanic

Mike holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Missouri and an Associates Degree from Guilford County Technical College in Aircraft Systems Technology.

He has 8 years of experience as an A&P Mechanic and he has worked on a variety of single engine aircraft including his own a PA24-250 Comanche

In his spare time Mike likes to work out, run and play tennis.

Ron Rinkenberg

A&P Mechanic

Ron has a Bachelor’s Degree in Aeronautical Technology from Purdue University.

He brings 4 years of experience in heavy maintenance and has worked for Pace Airlines and TIMCO.
