Blue Sky Aviation Adventures operates the flight school here at the Davidson County Airport. Two C-172 aircraft are available for training.

Current pilots can get BFR’s and a Tail Wheel endorsement
Tommy Winnett – Tommy has been flying in general aviation since 1967 and has logged more than 2000 hours. He is a U.S. Government licensed CFI and Ground Instructor with Tail wheel and Float Plane ratings and is working on his Instrument Instructor rating.
Ed Holland – Ed has logged more than 8300 hours and is a Certified Flight Instructor – Instrument. He holds a Commercial Pilot Certificate for airplane single engine, glider and tail wheel. And he is an FAA Designated Pilot Examiner for gliders.
Josh Henderson – Josh is a Commercial Pilot (CSEL) and a Certified Flight Instructor (CFI, CFI-I, AGI, IGI). He holds an Associates Degree in Applied Sciences from GTCC in Aviation Management and Career Pilot Technology.
