AirCare 1 now stationed at county airport

AirCare 1, Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center’s helicopter, is now operating from the Davidson County Airport. A ribbon-cutting ceremony Monday hosted by the Lexington Area Chamber of Commerce at the county airport marked the occasion. WFUBMC President Donnie Lambeth, Lexington City Mayor John Walser and Davidson County Board of Commissioners Chairman Dr. Max Walser commended the arrangement made between the county and the hospital that led to the local stationing of the helicopter.
