Wounded Warrior Flies

Jesse Fletcher takes flying lesson at Davidson County Airport  from our flight instructor Tom Winnett.  Thank you for your service Jesse! From WFMY News 2 – “Greensboro, NC — Marine Corporal Jesse Fletcher always wanted to learn how to fly. Fletcher wasn’t sure if he would ever get the chance, after losing both legs while serving in Iraq when he stepped on an IED. Some of his friends wanted to make sure that Fletcher got his chance to learn how to soar. His friends bought him a flying lesson and Fletcher’s love of flying took off from there. “Just because you’re an injured person, doesn’t have to mean that you can’t go out and try something. You’re only limited to what your brain will let you do,” says Fletcher.” WFMY News 2  Written by Kelly Heffernan-Tabor http://www.digtriad.com/news/local/article/234520/327/Wounded-Warrior-Learns-How-To-Fly
